Calvinism in the ESV Study Bible?    Some examples

l)  Romans 8:29  The word “know” emphasizes God’s special choice of, or covenantal affection for, His people

(eg. , Gen. 18:19,  Jeremiah 1:5,   Romans 11:2 , where “foreknow” functions as the contrast to “rejected”,    showing that it emphasizes God’s choosing of His people.  (see also 1 Peter 1:2, 20) . God also predestined  (ie. predetermined)  that those whom He chose beforehand would become like Christ.
