The Righteousness of Christ in us

"...you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 1:30-31

Unrighteousness would be the opposite: the absence of God's righteous presence and surrender to the world system

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled."
Matthew 5:6

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
Matthew 6:33-34

"Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength."
Isaiah 45:24

"He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly,
He who despises the gain of oppressions,
Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes,
Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil:
He will dwell on high; his place of defense will be the fortress of rocks...."
Isaiah 33:15

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment , you shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,' says the Lord."
Isaiah 54:17

"But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed... even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness...."
Romans 3:21-26

"I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead."
Philippians 3:7-11

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'"
Romans 1:16-17

"Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 5:20-21

"My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.
I will go in the strength of the Lord God;
I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only."
Psalm 71:15-16

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21

"My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He
shall pluck my feet out of the net."
Psalm 25:15

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
  Who made heaven and earth."
Psalm 121:1-2

"But my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord; in You I take refuge...
Keep me from the snares they have laid for me,
And from the traps of the workers of iniquity."
Psalm 141:8-9

"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." 2 Peter 1:1-4

"A King shall reign and prosper,
And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth....
Now this is His name by which He will be called:
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS."
Jeremiah 23:5-6
